08/10/2012 - Nicolò Pirisinu is the author of the photo selected, among the ones with the highest number of Facebook fan votes, to represent the emotions of Rally Italia Sardegna. Germano Gritti, professional photographer and Race&Motion art director (the event's official photo agency in charge of the selection) explained the reasons of this choice: "The photo represents the atmosphere of the rally at the same time as the typical natural features of Sardinia in a very graceful photo composition. The dust lifted by the rally cars winds through the maquis, while the spectators – whose clothing reveal a warm day – the granite blocks – for which the area is well-known – frame a spectacular action shot".
