Rally Italia Sardegna’s safey cars and FIA Officials will use the Volkswagen Amarok, prepared by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Germany – for the first time partners of a WRC event.
The members of the staff will use the new Volkswagen up!, the ideal car to easily drive around in Olbia and Porto Cervo’s traffic.
Rally Italia Sardegna will kick off on Thursday 18 October at 15:00 from Isola Bianca Service Park in Olbia’s city centre. Four intense days of competition and a 1250km itinerary. 307km of Special Stages, dividided into 16 demanding tests run on Sardinia’s challenging gravel roads.
The rally will finish on Sunday 21 October with the Prize Giving Ceremony held on in Porto Cervo – one of the most exclusive holiday destinations in the world.
