CAR #3 (J.M Latvala / M. Anttila): "I decided to start first on the road and I hope I didn´t loose too much on Loeb. I think 15 seconds would be ok because I think I´ll be quite fast on the second run".
CAR #5 (O. Tanak / K. Sikk): "I´m quite unhappy as I´m the only one on hard tyres. I´m not happy with the tyre choice as I couldn´t find a good rhythm".
CAR #4 (P. Solberg / C. Pattersson): "There are a lot of rocks in some places and you needed to go really carefully. I hope the second passage will be cleaner and not so slippery".
CAR #6 (E. Novikov / I. Minor): "It was very slippery and tricky. I couldn´t find a good rythm on this stage. I hope the second run will be better".
CAR #1 (S.Loeb / D. Elena): "Fastest time with 19:09.4. On the second run Latvala will be faster for sure. I´m quite surprised with his choice, I think he was thinking about the second run and based on the fact the sun will go down tonight".
CAR #2 (M. Hirvonen / J. Lehtinen): "It was a good start, we didn´t have any problems. Séb was very fast".
CAR #10 (M. Ostberg / J. Andersson): "I had drive shaft problem at the beginning of the stage. Then on thedownhill section we hit a stone, we had a spin and now we have big problemswith the steering".
CAR #7 (T. Neuville / N. Gilsoul): "I´m not happy with the time. We didn´t get any splits but that wasn´t the problem".
CAR #24 (L. Pedersoli / M. Romano): "It was ok, I hadn´t done a gravel rally in 11 years".
CAR #14 (P. Nobre / E. Paula): "We crashed in the Qualifying Stage, the team did an amazing job and we´re here now. This stage was really difficult, the time isn´t great".
CAR #22 (S. Ogier / J. Ingrassia): "All ok for us, we didn´t have any problems".
CAR #23 (A. Mikkelssen / O. Floene): "It was great, the road was clean and we were very fast".
CAR #42 (R. Trivino / A. Haro): "I lost my brakes halfway through the stage".
CAR #40 (G. Linari / A. Cecchi): "It was very tricky and I suffered a lot with the heat".
CAR #34 (L. Bertelli / L. Granai): Retired with mechanical problems.
CAR #41 (O. Kikireshko / S. Larens): "It was very slippery and tricky in there".
CAR #52 (G. Dettori / C. Pisano): "We were a bit careful at the beginning of the stage as we don´t know the car very well. We were caught in the dust of the car in front of us but we didn´t have any problems".
CAR #54 (M. Spagolla / G. Marchi): "We have a problem with the intercom".
CAR #61 (M. Angrisani - M. Pollicino): "It was good, I thought the time would be worse as I couldn´t find a rhythm of the first section of the stage".
CAR #65 (G. Manfrinato / F. Zanella): Retired.
CAR #64 (R. Sungkar / S. Beckwith): "The stage is beautiful but really, really demanding from a physical point of view".
CAR #66 (F. Marrone / F. Fresu): "We were very careful at the beginning of the stage, we know this stage but we didn´t push too much because it´s pointless at this stage".
CAR #71 (D. Catania / F. Salis): "I was caught on Nicolas´ dust in the second half of the stage".
CAR #75 (R. Donadio - G. Di Luigi): Retired. Will restart tomorrow with Rally2. |
