SS4 "CASTELSARDO": STAGE FLASH |

CAR #14 (P. Nobre / E. Paula): "It was a short Special Stage but very slippery and with loose stones. It was almost as difficult as a Tarmac stage under pouring rain. But I got to the end of it and that´s what really matters, another stage completed in Italy".
CAR #24 (L. Pedersoli / M. Romano): "We will try to do our best, we know this is a tough rally. This stage was really difficult - slippery and with a lot of loose stones".
CAR #21 (M. Prokop / Z. Hruza): "It was a terrible stage for me, I made a spin and it took a long time to restart the car, I had to try a few times".
CAR #5 (O. Tanak / K. Sikk): "No problems but it was so, so loose. There were no lines at all and we were lacking traction".
CAR #12 (C. Atkinson / S. Prevot): "I just took some big risks to try to get better times".
CAR #6 (E. Novikov / I. Minor): "No problems for me, it was a tricky stage but I was expecting it so I took it very carefully".
CAR #3 (J.M. Latvala / M. Anttila): Stopped 1km into the stage - too much damage to continue. Hit a bank and broke radiator, carried on but went off again and was forced to stop.
CAR #10 (M. Ostberg / J. Andersson): "Jari Matti went off in a fast place after a blind corner. He crashed the car and he´s stopped now, he will not continue today. For me it was quite tricky, there´s something wrong with the rear right of the car, I don´t know what´s going on".
CAR #7 (T. Neuville / N. Gilsoul): Did not start the stage.
CAR #4 (P. Solberg / C. Patterson): "I took it a bit carefully after what happened to Jari Matti".
CAR #2 (M. Hirvonen / J. Lehtinen): "It was a difficult stage, I took it a bit steady but always keeping a look at Petter´s split times".
CAR #23 (A. Mikkelssen / O. Floene): "Unfortunately I made a mistake, I got stuck in a ditch for a few seconds. but this stage was so, so difficult. I´m happy though, one more stage that I learned". |
