CAR #14 (P. Nobre / E. Paula): “If we are here it means that everything is ok. We are on hard tyres now but we decided to save softs for tomorrow morning as we have only a limited numbers of those we can use. I’m a bit afraid about the last stage today, I think I will be destroyed!”. CAR #24 (L. Pedersoli / M. Romano): “Everything ok. The starting position affects a lot the performance. We took off 40 seconds from this morning’s time which is very good”. CAR #5 (O. Tanak / K. Sikk): “It was very difficult especially the last section of the stage”. CAR #12 (C. Atkinson / S. Prevot): “It’s ok, we need to do a little bit more work but no problems”. CAR #10 (M. Ostberg / J. Andersson): “I think we still have some problems with the car, probably the driveshaft but I’m not sure. We lost a few seconds to Novikov towards the end of the stage”. CAR #6 (E. Novikov / I. Minor): “Nice battle with Mads, we’ll try to fight but he knows the long stage (Montelerno) better than we do so we’ll see what we can do. We’ll try not to make stupid mistakes”. CAR #4 (P. Solberg / C. Patterson): “No problems. I was a bit concerned with the tyres but in the end it was ok”. CAR #2 (M. Hirvonen / J. Lehtinen): “The Fords were very fast on this stage, I need to speed up now. I’m happy this one is behind now, I’m sure the last two stages will be better”. CAR #23 (A. Mikkelsen / O. Floene): “We’re struggling a bit more now, I couldn’t find good grip now – it took some time to get used to it”. CAR #22 (S. Ogier / J. Ingrassia): “The grip is better now, we have better tyres – with the softs the car was moving a lot”. CAR #51 (K. Kruuda / M. Jarveoja): “It was hard to drive here because it’s such a slow stage. I’m suffering a lot because of the heat. I didn’t feel very confortable here”. CAR #32 (N. Fuchs / F. Mussano): “I have a little problem with the brakes but I don’t know what’s going on”. CAR #33 (M. Ligato / R. Garcia): “We have some problems with the brakes but ok, we pushed and set a good time”. CAR #38 (B. Guerra / B. Rozada): “We had some small problems in the first few kilometres as we have new brakes on the car and they were getting quite warm”. CAR #31 (M. Kosciuszko / M. Szczepaniak): “We need to avoid any kind of risks but we don’t want to be far from the guys in front. Everybody has problems with the brakes but you can’t avoid it – you just have to try and save them”.
